Securian’s Environment • Implemented PeopleSoft in 1998 • PeopleSoft release 9.1, PeopleTools: 8.50 • HR, NA Payroll, Base Benefits & Ben Admin • Employee self-service - eBenefits, eProfile, ePay • Manager self-service (custom) • Talent Acquisition Manager and Candidate Gateway • Employees on Payroll: 3,700 • Moderate customizations

  12. The Results • Managers embrace the new Job Opening Request • The attachment function was added after initial rollout as managers and Compensation wanted • Guided process and less confusion for manager • Shortcoming – JO requests manually created by Admin

  14. Automation Objectives • Create a single source of Employees and Non-employees for data feeds • Information Security for provisioning and access rights • Get information for follow-up • Make it simple • Build within the PeopleSoft Manager Self-Service

  17. The Results • We require all CW be reported to and tracked by HR • CW are incorporated in appropriate data loaded to IIQ/Active Directory • Managers can see and manage CW • Follow-up process in place

  18. Conclusion • Currently no link from custom Job Opening or Contingent Worker process to PS admin pages • Will look at using 9.2 tools for further enhancements • 110 project hours well spent!
