Future Vision Plan Strengthens impact of club projects by allowing Rotarians to develop and implement larger projects with greater and sustainable impact Sharpen focus of overall grants activity (6 focus areas) Enable local decision making District and club level committees direct use of district grant funds and districts continue to direct use of DDF to obtain matching funds for Foundation global grants.

  8. Future Vision Grants Only 2 types: Global Grants District Grants Simplifies grants processing Allows clubs and districts to partner with other organizations (private/NGO’s) Increases visibility and image for clubs, district and RI

  9. Global Grants Support larger projects with sustainable, high impact outcomes within 6 areas of focus previously discussed Packaged grants fully funded by Foundation Clubs and District developed grants receive funding match from foundation Minimum total project cost: US$30,000

  10. District Grants Block grants to support activities within foundation mission Districts can use these grants to: fund scholarships support vocational teams sponsor volunteer service provide disaster recovery activities support community and international service projects

  11. Future Vision Plan Simple, flexible, innovative Sustainable Educational and humanitarian projects and activities consistent with Foundation mission Focus on smaller activites and projects Local decision making with broader guidelines
