  2. How the person got the disease • Stevie wonder was born six weeks premature so the blood vessels at the back of his eyes didn’t reach the front causing the retina in the eye to detach. • The medical term for this condition was retinopathy of prematurity or ROP.

  3. Negative and positive response toward others • The positive responses towards the public was that he encouraged others that even though you suffer from a disability it shouldn’t limit what you want to do in the future. • There weren’t really any negative responses as Stevie wonder was a good man to everyone.

  4. Can and Can’t do because of his disease • Stevie wonder can sing and play the piano and harmonica even though he is blind • He is blind and isn’t able to see what everything around him looks like. However he uses his imagination to try and s things.

  5. Misfortunes he had to overcome • There was only one main misfortune for Stevie wonder when his mother left his father and his parents separated. • He quickly overcame this when he took piano lessons and also the harmonica, drums and bass. This lead him to his career of been a pop artist.

  6. Summary on how people can respond positively to this disease • People can be encouraged by just doing what they want with determination and not give in to the fact that because they are blind they are limited in what they should do in the future. • Don’t feel vulnerable because they are blind.
