Credit Transfer Arrangement with Shandong University • 2+2 arrangement • SDU undergraduate students who have completed two years study at SDU and who meet UQ’s entry requirements may apply to complete their studies towards the Bachelor of Economics at UQ in two years, and receive the UQ Bachelor of Economics award. (SDU students must complete and pass the specific courses required by UQ prior to entering the Bachelor of Economics program.)

  15. Students undertaking the 2 + 2 program may commence at UQ in either semester 1 (February) or semester 2 (July)

Credit Transfer Arrangement with Shandong University • Entry Requirement: • 3 semester original academic transcripts with overall average of at least 70% • Math: Advanced Mathematics 60% or above at SDU • English: 6.5 Overall (minimum of 6.0 in each category) • UQ Bachelor of Economics Specialisations (currently under review) Students will not be required to choose a specialisation upon application. • Business & Industry • International Trade & Finance • Quantitative Methods • Natural Resources & Environment

Credit Transfer Arrangement with Shandong University • 1+1 arrangement • Masters level students at Shandong University’s School of Economics have the option to apply to complete their studies at The University of Queensland’s School of Economics after successfully completing one year of their SDU masters program. Students must meet both the academic and English proficiency requirements in order to be admitted into the program.

Eligible UQ programs: • The 1 + 1 program relates to the following programs offered by UQ’s School of Economics: • Master of International Economics and Finance • Master of Business Economics • Master of Development Economics • Students who complete one year at SDU and one year (two semesters) at UQ will receive a UQ award. If students wish to obtain both the UQ and SDU masters, they will be required to successfully complete on additional year at SDU after their studies at UQ and are recommended to contact the SDU School of Economics for further information. • Student eligibility • Credit will be recognised for successful completion of: • Intermediate Macroeconomics M004109 • Intermediate Microeconomics M004110 • Financial Economics M004047 • Plus one elective

Opportunity to Study Master Advanced • Subject to a student’s GPA students may extend their studies at UQ to three semester (1.5 years) in order to complete one of the following programs. • Master of International Economics and Finance (Advanced) • Master of Business Economics (Advanced) • Master of Development Economics (Advanced) – all subject to final approval • Commencement • Students undertaking the 1 + 1 program may commence at UQ in either semester 1 (February or 2 semester (July)

  20. 1 + 1 Credit Transfer Arrangement Entry requirments • Students must meet UQ’s minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) in their SDU masters program (including passing grades in the three specified SDU courses) for entry to the UQ masters program. Current minimum GPA is 75% based on a passing grade of 60% • Bachelor degree awarded by SDU • Evidence of English language proficiency • with at least IELTS 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each category). • No English package offer is allowed.
