  1. Welcome to Advisor DARS Web! (Degree Audit Reporting System )

  2. Table of Contents DARS Review: • Exceptions Click Here • View Courses Click Here • Audit Click Here • Planned Courses Click Here • What if Program Click Here • Transfer Evaluations Click Here • Enter a student’s Temple ID number or their first and/or last name.

  3. Exceptions Select “View Exceptions.” To view further information, select the desired link under “Audit Note.”

  4. Exceptions You can edit the Exception. Afterediting “Exceptions” select “SaveEdit.”

  5. View Courses Select “View Courses” “R-title” represents former institutions a student attended.

  6. View Courses Select an institution you would like to view. The student’s former course(s)from another institution will appear.

  7. Audit(View Audit) Select “View Audit.” A list of audits will appear. The most current audit will be displayed at the top of the list.

  8. Audit(Request New Audit) Select “Request New Audit.” Select “Submit a New Audit.”

  9. Audit Select “Open Audit” and view a student’s overall GPA, completed requirements, and unfilled requirements. Greenmeaning completed semester hours and Pink meaning unfilled semester hours.

  10. Audit Select “Core” or “Major”. A bar graph will appear and display further information about the “Core” or “Major”.

  11. Planned Courses(Option # 1) Select “Add Planned Courses”. After selecting a Year, Course and/or a Memo, select “Save/Edit.”

  12. Planned Courses To edit a “Planned Course,” select the desired class under “Course Number.” Select “Save/Edit” after editing your “Planned” course.

  13. Planned Courses(Option #2) Select a course from the sub-requirements (preferably a required class). Select “Yes.”

  14. Planned Courses In the “Course Description” scroll down and check the class of your interest. In this example select “Mathematics.”

  15. Planned Courses Make sure you check for prerequisite, credits, and availability. Select “Add.”

  16. Planned Courses(Option #3) Select “Add a Course…” Select a class for future references (next semester).

  17. Planned Courses • Select “Submit Addition.” • Under “Course Cart” select “Go” after checking your list.

  18. Planned Courses To review your list of “Planned Courses” select “View Planned Courses.” List of “Planned” courses.

  19. Planned Courses • To Delete “Planned Courses,” select the check box (to the right) and select “Delete Courses”. • IMPORTANT NOTE: The “Planned Courses” selected for the semester(s) will not automatically register students for those selected year/terms.

  20. Planned Courses(Request New Audit) In order to see a student’s “Planned Courses” throughout the interactive audit, select “Request New Audit,” and click “Include Planned Courses” before selecting “Submit a New Audit”.

  21. Planned Courses The interactive audit will show how the "Planned Course(s)” will satisfy requirements once they are completed with a satisfactory grade.

  22. What if Hypothetically Speaking: WHAT IF a student changed their major? How will their completed courses apply? Under “Request New Audit” select “Run Selected Program.”

  23. What if Select a “College, Major, and Degree.” Select the year the student was admitted.

  24. What If • Select “Submit a New Audit.” • Select “Open Audit” to view the required core and major courses needed.

  25. Transfer Evaluations • Source is the transfer institution. • Code is the transfer institutions FICE or IPED code (used to access the A9 screen in ISIS). • Date Modified is the date the evaluation was posted or updated. • RCredit is the reported credit of the transfer course. • ECredit is the earned credit for the transfer course. • RCI is the Required Course Indicator.
