  2. MiBLSi Trainer Status • Over 500 participating schools • Over 300 training sessions to be conducted this year (2009-2010) • Approximately 50 state trainers

Two components that when combined, result in successful and sustainable outcomes • Practice (Intervention) • Training content in Behavior and Reading Supports • Supporting Infrastructure (Implementation) • Ensuring that the interventions are implemented correctly with the “right people”, at the “right time”, in the “right amounts”

The requirements for participation in the MiBLSi State Training of Trainers include: • Completion of electronic application that includes an electronic copy of the applicant’s resume or vita • Agreement to attend all Trainer Development dates that are relevant for the topics that the trainer has requested to present • Completion of reading assignments relevant to the training content prior to scheduled Trainer Development dates. • Openness to feedback from assigned mentor and a willingness to engage in continuous improvement
