  3. HISTORIA Un hombre me pidió que le dierade beber, y me ofrecí a darle también agua a suscamellos.

  4. HISTORIA Después me dio muchos regalos.

  5. HISTORIA Me habló de su amo Abraham que había tenido un hijo en su vejez.

  6. HISTORIA Me contócomo asu hijounigénitoIsaac, lehabía dado todas sus riquezas. Y que él había sido enviado a buscar una esposa para él. .

  7. HISTORIA Me pedió que dejar mi tierrapara ir a un país desconocido.

  8. HISTORIA Que dejara mi familia… mi hogar…

  9. HISTORIA Mi hermanoqueríahacermefiesta. Pero el criadode Abrahamdijo no. Entonces mepreguntaron:¿Irás tú con este varón?

  10. HISTORIA Convencida,respondí: ¡Sí, iré!

  11. HISTORIA Y salí a una tierra que no conocía.

  12. DATOS DE LA HISTORIA Rebeca no conocía: • Al varón que la invitaba. • El lugar donde viviría. • A quien sería su esposo. Pero llegó a comprender: • Quién era el Dios que la escogió. • Cuál era la riqueza de aquel que sería su esposo.

  13. DATOS DE LA HISTORIA Es por esto que Rebeca decidió: • Dejar su familia. • Abandonar su tierra. • Rehusar una fiesta. • Salir de inmediato. • Acatar nuevas costumbres. • Amar a quien sería su esposo.

  14. APLICACIÓN Tal como a Rebeca, se te pide: • AMAR a quien no has visto y creer en su amor y su riqueza (1 P. 1:8). • DEJAR tu pueblo y la casa de tu padre (Sal. 45:10,11). Tus antiguos deseos y tu vana manera de vivir (1 P. 1:14,15,18,19).
