  1. Aurora County All-stars By: Michael Viviano

  2. Characters • House Jackson • Lenard Jackson • Honey Jackson • Eudora the dog • Cleebo • Mr. Norwood Boyd • Finesse • Pip/Finesse’s grandfather • Mrs. Jackson • All of the mamas in Aurora County • All of the players on House’s baseball team

  3. Settings • One of the settings in this book is House’s house. House lives with his dad and his sister, because his mom died when he was only six years old. • Another setting in this book is Mr. Norwood Boyd’s house. House was at Mr. Norwood Boyd’s house (after a girl broke his elbow in two different places). because his dad asked him to. But something House didn’t know was how close he was to Mr. Norwood Boyd. • The last setting is the baseball diamond where his team would practice everyday no matter if it’s raining or anything else. The whole team has rules he they are • 1. No girls allowed. • 2. Play till dark. • 3. If less than nine kids show up they play grounders and flies, if more than nine kids show up they make two teams. • 4. Tree strikes makes an out and three outs makes an inning. • 5. No spitballs spiting is allowed. • Well you get the point.

  4. Problem • There is one big problem in this book. It is that every fourth of July House’s baseball team plays a big game against the team the Redbugs. They never lost the game except for the last game on the fourth of July because there captain and star pitcher of there team, (House). had his elbow broken. And now this year he and all the rest of the team might not be able to play in the game because of the same girl that broke House’s elbow.

  5. Journey • The Journey in this book is really just for House. His journey is where he breaks his elbow. And when he breaks his elbow he starts going over to an old man’s house because his father asked him to. But House didn’t really get to know him, but after the old man died he really wants to knowhim now. And now House has a really big secret something that almost no one in Aurora County knows what it is.
