What is SSL? • Travelport is in the process of removing the dependency of leased lines from Galileo customers, replacing the connection with SSL. • SSL, short for Secure Sockets Layer, is a protocol for transmitting private documents/information via the internet. • The Galileo SSL client will enable agents’ existing IP workstations and print servers to access Galileo over the public Internet via an encrypted, secured connection. The client install is simpleand does not require an agent to change any existing workstation configurations or agency workflow. Install is required on each workstation. • Once the connection has been established, users should continue to work as they do today. There are no changes to the existing Galileo products. Where it all started: Project Onyx • ONYX is a cost reduction initiative with 2 primary goals: • 2007 Goal: Obtain a $30M reduction in annual telecom run rate spend with $17.5M realized savings • 2008 Goal: Obtain a cumulative $45M reduction in annual telecom run rate spend with a cumulative $37.5M realized savings • Onyx is a 2-year initiative; any capital spend must generate full payback PLUS cost savings within 6-18 months SSL Sales presentation

What happens when customers switch to SSL? • Galileo disconnects the agency leased line • No Agent Workflow Impact • New customers- no interaction needed • Existing customers/ converted desktops after install, upon initial log in, SSL will automatically capture the work station information and establish the connection via the internet. How will customers receive SSL? • SSL must be provisioned via Net Order / Configurator before a customer can get the install. • Each individual market will decide how they will deliver the SSL client. • Internally, Install and Guide are available on Homeport and Ask Galileo SSL Sales presentation

  14. Guidelines for ordering SSL- New and Existing Customers Step 1: Account Manager communicates new solution to customer Step 2: Customer confirms they already have access an ISP. Customer then completes SSL order form and returns it to Account Manager Step 3: Account Manager may pass order form to Local Technical resource who checks it to confirm SSL suitability Step 4: Local technical resource or Account Manager passes form to Provisioning who enter order into NetOrder or Configurator Step 5: Provisioning receive an email confirming order has been processed Step 6: After 24 hours, Provisioning emails requester advising customer is ready. Step 7: Local Technical resource updates Account Manager who will then activate the billing (if applicable) Step 8: Customer downloads SSL install and guide and confirms everything is working. Benefits to Customers • No on-site hardware required (other than an ISP connection) • No server-based software required • No special agency network routing required • No special agency firewall rules required • No design limit to the number of SSL connections through a standard router…performance is limited only by ISP bandwidth • No credential challenge on connection breaks • No leased line circuit needed • Agencies can get significantly more bandwidth and throughput through a high-speed internet connection, per dollar spent, then through a leased line connection.
