  3. History • Founded in 1993 by students with Presidential support • Presidential Organization • Six Founding Members • 45 campuses

  4. Mission • Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) is a network of college campuses involving students, faculty, and staff in service-learning and civic engagement in order to educate citizens, prepare tomorrow’s leaders, and contribute to the quality of life of America’s communities. ICC supports the integration of service-learning and civic engagement into campus culture by facilitating collaborations, sponsoring programs, sharing best practices, and promoting public awareness of higher education’s role in graduating well-informed, engaged citizens.

  15. What Is Service-Learning? A way for students to learn and grow through carefully organized and meaningful service that is either incorporated into a course or provided as a co-curricular experience.
