  1. Rising Pollution and other Reasons to get an Air Purifier

  2. A hazardous atmosphere full of dust, pollutants, and viruses can prove to be a real threat, not just outdoors, but indoors too. Getting a home air purifier or even a room air purifier can guard you against harmful bacteria and viruses present in the air inside your house.

  3. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is always a priority for all of us living the city life. But if you think that viruses are only present in the outdoor air, you’re definitely mistaken. Studies have shown that the air quality indoors can be twice as bad as it is outdoors, if not monitored regularly.  • With COVID-19 scare surrounding us again, it has become crucial to safeguard ourselves from various bacteria present in the air and keeping ourselves safe inside out. From mild to chronic, there are many harmful diseases caused by inhaling bad quality air, such as coughing, mild headaches, asthma to deadly diseases like lung cancer, heart disease, chronic bronchitis, and even acute respiratory infections.

  4. Thanks to the advanced technology, a home air purifier eliminates hazardous elements from the air such as bacteria, viruses, allergens, pet dander, dust and smoke, among other things that make us sick, and improves the quality of the air we breathe inside our homes. Basically, an air purifier traps and collects airborne contaminants inside the house by cycling air through an internal filtration system or sending out charged particles into the air, which neutralises the pollutants.

  5. Apart from making the indoor air cleaner and healthier, there are other reasons on why you should invest in a home air purifier or at least, a room air purifier.

  6. Allergies If you or someone in your house suffers from allergies, you would know that it can be a really bad situation, triggered by even the slightest contact with dust and allergens, especially if they are airborne, like pollen. Getting a hepa air purifier for your house would be a wise decision

  7. Pets Regular grooming of pets helps reduce the risks of associated with shedding hair and dead cells around, but it may prove to be difficult to constantly groom pets and the resultant dander can cause reactions in people with allergies. Here again, having a room air purifier or even better, a hepa air purifier, can help combat the situation and help you enjoy the company of your pet without adversely affecting anyone with a risk of an allergy. Hepaair purifiers contain a special hepa filter that effectively removes up to 99% airborne particles like dust, mold, pet dander and pollen.

  8. Proximity to construction sites If your house is close to a construction site, then you would be inviting dust, debris and other pollutants into your house, which could adversely affect the indoor air quality and lead to breathing issues, asthma or bronchitis. Dust can be a severe allergen and even cause irritability in eyes or severe complications in the lungs. Getting a home air purifier can help you eliminate the risk of dust and sand particles, but make sure to clean out the filters regularly.

  9. Pregnancy Pregnant women are at the most risk of contracting bacteria and virus and other complications of inhaling foreign particles that may be present in the indoor air. Some scientists even argue that poor indoor air quality could directly impact the life of the unborn child and may cause developmental complications in the foetus. Getting an air purifier for your home could help you mitigate the risks.

  10. Now that you know the risks, you should look at getting a home air purifier at the earliest and improve the indoor air quality of your house. There are many brands that offer affordable air purifiers, which work well for a normal household.
