“Grammar to Explain”. 부사절을 분사구문으로 고칠 때에 접속사는 생략 하지 않을 경우도 있는데 이는 분사구문의 의미(조 건·시간·양보)를 확실히 밝히기 위해서다. 이 경 우 는 원래의 부사절에서 <주어+ be> 동사를 생략한 효과와 마친가지다(특수구문—생략구문 참조) Though she was a girl, she was very brave. (Being) a girl, she was very brave.
