  16. Andy Hepworth • Sport has always been an important part of my life from participating, coaching and spectating. Although spectating, and providing a taxi service for my own children seems to take up the majority of my free time right now. I have enjoyed most sports over the years including football in the Kent league, Skiing and nowadays Golf seems the best option all round. I taught PE for the first time in the Falkland Islands almost 10 years which was always a challenge given the constant wind which gave a different meaning to the beautiful game. • The Mediterranean Cup is a great opportunity for the students to put themselves up against other schools in the world to see where they stand in terms of their own skills and ability. I have enjoyed watching them all develop both their sporting skills and the essential teamwork element that is required. I look forward to watching them all perform in the 2014 Football competition especially after winning the SAIKAC competition. • Favorite Quotes • “Winning isn’t everything. There should be no conceit in victory and no despair in defeat.”Matt Busby • “He can’t kick with his left foot, he can’t head a ball, he can’t tackle and he doesn’t score many goals. Apart from that he’s all right.”George Best on David Beckham

  17. Sean Gale • Sport is a big passion of mine, additionally giving students the opportunity to participate in as many activities and have as many worth while experiences is also a big passion. • I would like to see I have experience in organising and running school trips. I have been involved in many school trips including year 7 trips to Kingswood adventure centre, whole school Disney land trips, 4 Fujairah trips, football tours to Barcelona and the Nuo Camp, involved in 8 BSME games including organising the Under 13 games in 2014 and a mini Saudi BSME games for the Under 11. • I am looking forward to the Mediterranean Cup. It will not only be a excellent experience on the football front, but also on the social and cultural front.
