Kate Barlow • The towns only School Teacher • Taught Adults, one named Trout Walker(killed Sam after he kissed Kate) • Made Spiced Peaches (Sploosh) • Kissed Sam (the onion seller) • Broke the law by kissing another race • Became known as Kissin’ Kate Barlow • Most feared outlaw in the West • Killed by a Yellow Spotted Lizard • Died while laughing

  3. Why I chose Kate?? • I chose Kate Barlow or known as, “Kissin’ Kate Barlow, "because of her spiced peaches she made that saved Zero & Stanley from dying of starvation. I also chose her because she didn’t care what others thought about her when she kissed Sam even though he was African American, and she also shrived to be able to teach others so they could have more knowledge.

  4. Relationship • The Peach Sploosh relates to Kate Barlow because during the spring before winter time came,when the peaches were ready for harvest Kate Barlow would pick some and make spiced peaches or Peach Sploosh.
