Principles of incident Handling iaw Equality and Diversity Policy • Instructors should be trained in accordance with the MOD Equality and Diversity Policy & be aware of the implementation of the policy in the local work place • Instructors must appreciate their limitations and their ability to assist students with personal matters.

Principles of incident Handling iaw Equality and Diversity Policy • Instructors may not be in a position to solve student issues affecting studies but they have a responsibility to ensure the problem is addressed and directed through the correct channels for action • This will assist instructors in managing students & maintaining an environment conducive to training for all students.

Principles of Incident Handling iaw Equality and Diversity Policy • All incidents should be managed at the lowest possible level that permits resolution. • ‘Resolution’ only occurs when all parties concerned are content the issue is closed. • Where individual parties do not accept that resolution has occurred, the incident is to be reported to the next level, until resolution occurs.
