  2. #2 Main cloud types Click to go to this website to learn about the three main cloud types.

  3. #3 How do clouds form? Put these sentences in order, check yourself, and rescramble before moving on. The air cools until it is satuared (cool air can't hold as much water vapor as warm air). The hot, moist air rises and cools. Sun heats the earth and water evaporates into water vapor. If the water droplets cling together and get heavy enough, it rains! Clouds form when the water vapor condenses (100% relative humidity). Check

  4. #4 Why is the sky blue?

  5. #5 Earth's Moderate Temperatures The setting sun as seen from the International Space Station.

  6. #6 Evaporation and Energy (absorbed from the environment)

  7. #7 Temperature of the Atmosphere The sun heats the earth, the earth heats the air above it.

  8. #8 High and Low Pressure If you were lying on the ground under the cold air, you would feel higher pressure. WHY?

  9. #9 Relative Humidity maximum amount of water vapor actual amount of water vapor 50C 250C 80% humidity 45% humidity
