  3. Issues with Mobile Learning Technology • “Access” • Connection • Hardware failures/lack of troubleshoot • “Quality” • Bilingual ability • Importance of design • Lack of collaborative learning environment • Untrained teachers • Lack of motivation to continue/family needs

  4. ABCD • Audience – Underserved Indigenous Children • Behavior – Acquire new capability (literacy) • Condition – Able to read despite situated in low quality schools/lack of infrastructure • Degree – Improve literacy

  5. Evergreen Education • Rural High School Library Project • Provide funds to purchase books and periodicals • Identify and purchase appropriate computer hard/software for the operation of the library • Provide training workshops on the use of technology for the librarians • Provide information literacy workshops for faculty, students and the general public
