  1. ISCI general assembly

ISCI structure • An international personal membership society. • Open to anyone interested in measuring, monitoring and using indicators for improving children’s well being • ISCI is run and managed by its standing committee which is headed by 2 co-chairs. • It is based administratively at the Institute for Family and Neighborhood Life (IFNL) at Clemson University, South Carolina, USA.

  3. ISCI Standing committee • A voluntary multi-professional and multi-national 12 members committee. • Based on ISCI founding group (with a 3 years term limit). • Future management committee members will be elected by ISCI members in the bi-annual conferences.

  4. Web-site and Newsletter • ISCI operates a web-site with current data on its activities and plans (and hopefully the conference presentations soon): www.childindicators.org • ISCI publish an e-newsletter 4 times a year. Please help us by sending materials, announcements and information to the newsletter editor Bill O'Hare - WOhare@aecf.org

  6. Child Indicators Research (CIR) • First issues will be published on April 2008. • Priority will be given to the conference papers. • Please send your paper by July 20 via e-mail to: cir@mscc.huji.ac.il • Future submission (as of July 30, 2007) would have to go through the journal on-line submission system at www.editorialmanager.com/cir

  7. Bi-annual conference • ISCI 2nd conference will be in Sydney Australia on September or October of 2009!!! • The local hosts will be Jan Mason and Elizabeth Fernandez. • ISCI 3rd conference will most likely be in Barcelona, Spain on 2011…. • Final dates for the next conference and a general theme will be distributed by September 2007.
