Annual tasks for state testing coordinators • Always review the newly posted manual - Testing Coordinator Manual. • Always have your test examiners to review their manual – Test Examiner Manual. • Remind your special ed teachers to review the most recent testing accommodation manual. • Always discuss test security with your staff and have them sign the Test Security Agreement. Keep this on file EACH year. • Always expect to update the AIR browser for the year. It must be installed on all your student machines or browser app that must be updated.

  39. Create your registration file • Step 1 –Download TIDE template • Log into TIDE • Select Student Information/Upload Pre-ID File • Select Download Template - Excel • Save it on your desktop, open it, and move it to the right of your desktop

Create your registration file • Step 3 - Correctly format DOB to TEXT – (YYYY-MM-DD) if needed • Insert 2 columns in front of DOB column • Select the second new column (K) and make sure format=General • Select the first new column (J) and make sure format of the column is TEXT • In the second new column type in row 2 • =TEXT(“L2,”YYYY-MM-DD”) • Copy this formula down the column • Copy entire column and Paste Special – Values Only into column new J row 2 • Delete columns K & L • Relabel column J – Date of Birth
