  1. Student Led Conferences By: T.J Hoppen

  2. Cover Letter I have learned many new things this year, some of these things include: Cells and organelles, DNA molecules including things like Chromosomes, and all of the process’ that your body goes through in order for you to survive. My favorite part of science is learning about the process’ that your body goes through I order to survive. This was my favorite because I knew the least amount about this topic and was in awe after I found out how many things your body does in just a second. My least favorite thing about science is DNA and Chromosomes. This was my least favorite because I got very easily confused on this topic and found that it took me the most time to grasp. I already have learned more this year in science than I learned all of last year.

  3. Rating ability to complete assignments On a scale from 1-5 my ability to complete assignments is a 4. I think that this is because usually I know all of the information on the homework worksheets/assignments and the thing that I have to focus on is remembering to complete it. For that reason I give myself a 4.

  4. Rating on Effort in Class Discussions on a scale of 1-5 on effort and participation in class discussions I give myself a 4. I think that I deserve a 4 because I usually try to give my opinion out in class although sometimes my opinion does not come out the way I was meaning it to. Also, when I do not understand entirely the class discussion topic I do my best to listen to what my classmates are saying to grasp the information better, however when I do this I usually do not give my opinion on it because I do not understand it.

  5. Rating on my Ability to Work With Others in Class On a scale from 1-5 I give myself a rating of 3 on my ability to work with others in the classroom. I believe that I deserve this because I can be talkative and get distracted or side tracked when I work with certain people in the class. But, when I work with people who I am unfamiliar with or aren't my friend I seem to work the best with because I don’t talk with them as much as I would with my friend.

  6. Things That I Would Like to Improve on Some things that I would like to improve on next quarter are; taking more notes in class, staying more organized and lastly immediately reading a hand out when I am given it. I would like to take more notes because then I believe I will understand the information better and will have another way to study for a test, and I am now trying to take more notes in class. I would like to stay more organized because that way I will be able to look back on things that I did not understand later and will have more information to study with. I would like to improve on reading a handout immediately when I get it because then I will be able to ask more questions in class about it and understand the information more. On a scale of 1-5 I would give myself a five on this topic.

  7. Something That Went Well so Far This Year One thing that went well this year was 60 Second Science’s. I think that this went well because I was able to raise my grade higher fairly easily, I always got a good grade on them and I was usually able to understand them fairly quickly. On 60 second sciences I would give my self a score on from 1-5 a 5.
