Office of International Programs2011-2012 Accomplishments • ADMISSION • Global Outreach (GO) Ambassadors Program • Foreign language admission materials developed in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Marathi, Mongolian, Portuguese, Spanish, Tamil, and Thai • 25% increase in undergraduate accepted applicants (Fall 2011 to Fall 2012)

Tribal College Partnerships Program • Tribal College Relations • ND tribal colleges visits • Grant writing advice, transfer students, equine studies, water quality grant, criminal justice interns, food preparation programming, Provost visit to CCCC, gardens tour, NATURE planning meetings, IT dept’s at Tribal Colleges and NDSU’s IT collaborative, funding, green houses, BA/BS degrees, and oil impact.

  27. Equity and Diversity Center • In 2011-12, 80+ educational programs on culture, religion, veterans, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ability, gender and more • Last year, 248 reservations for space in the Center were made

LGBTQ Programs • Launched in Summer 2012 • LGBTQ Roommate Matching – with Department of Residence Life • LGBTQ Resource Center dedicated during Homecoming Week • Safe Zone Ally Training • Expanded to 3 levels: Becoming an Ally, Gender Identity/Expression, Upstander • More than 250 current Safe Zone Allies
