Club Expectations • There are many pros and cons to the expectations of club soccer. In club, players playing time is based on 3 things. • Do they come to practice regularly. • Can they apply what they have learned in practices in the games. • How hard they play in the games.
Club expectations cont. • You must understand that every child is not guaranteed to play ¾ of the game as opposed to Ayso. • The players time of play is reflected on their performance, attendance, motivation and dedication.
Players Responsibilities • Must bring proper soccer gear NO JEANS • Must bring water • Watching soccer on the television • Practicing on their own time • Coming to practice • Respecting the coach and each other
Parents Responsibilities • Make sure their child has the proper soccer gear. • Make sure they child has water. • Bringing their child to practice. • Taking their child to games 20 min prior to game time. • Paying the club dues • Participating in fundraisers • No attitudes at practices and games
Sideline coaching • No side line coaching PERIOD! • Parents you are number one in your child's life, I will not be able to compete with your commands and I do not want to confuse my players in what I expect them to do. • Being positive and cheering for your child is the best thing you can do for your child.
