Request for Qualification (RFQ) Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation Government of Karnataka Development of Traffic & Transit Management Centre at Hebbal, Bangalore under Public Private Partnership mode • NO.BMTC:CO:TR:COM:ESA: 908 :2010-11 Dated: 25.05.2010 • Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is State Transport Corporation engaged in providing safe, reliable, clean and affordable public transport in Bangalore city. It has decided to undertake development, operation and maintenance of Traffic & Transit Management Centre (TTMC) at Hebbal through Public Private Partnership mode on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. • With this reference, BMTC intends to pre-qualify and short list suitable applicants who will be eligible for participation in the bid stage for awarding the project through an open competitive bidding process in accordance with procedure set out herein. • The scope of work will broadly include design concept, develop, maintain and operate a public transport hub named as TTMC which will mainly comprise of Bus Terminal & Bus Depot, Commercial complex and Multi Level Car Parking Facility. However, the operation of Bus Terminal & Bus Depot will be exclusively done by BMTC and maintenance by the private sector. • Interested parties can avail the RFQ document, which includes format of the submission of the RFQ at the address given below, from 26thMay 2010 to 24th June 2010 (except public holidays) during office hours (11:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Enquiries through email/ facsimile transmission will also be entertained. This document can also be downloaded from the website (https://eproc.karnataka.gov.in) of the department. • Applicant shall pay to BMTC a sum of Rs. 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand) by way of D D drawn in favour of CAO-FA, BMTC as the cost of the RFQ process prior to making an application. • Responses on prescribed format should be submitted at the place described in the RFQ document on or before 1500 hrs of 25th June 2010. • BMTC reserves the full right to accept or reject any RFQ without any liability or obligation for such acceptance or rejection without assigning any reason.
