Cordillera Administrative Region(CAR)

Cordillera Administrative Region(CAR). It is located in the northern part of Luzon in the Cordillera Mountain Ranges. It separates Region 1 and Region 2. It was created by Executive Order No.220 in July 15, 1987. It is the only land-locked region in the Philippines (surrounded by land).

  2. It is located in the northern part of Luzon in the Cordillera Mountain Ranges. • It separates Region 1 and Region 2. • It was created by Executive Order No.220 in July 15, 1987.

  3. It is the only land-locked region in the Philippines (surrounded by land). • It has a total land area of 19,422 sq. km. • It is the least populous region in the Philippines.

  4. Provinces: It is composed of 6 provinces. 1.Abra 2.Apayao 3.Benguet

  5. 4.Ifugao 5.Kalinga 6.Mt. Province - And 1 city – Baguio
