  4. About the book • In Ellen Tebbits the book’s about a girl named Ellen. She used to have a best friend named Austine. Ellen slapped her best friend Austine, so that’s why she didn’t have a best friend anymore. She didn’t say sorry to Austine for slapping her. She just- she just didn’t know how to. 5. About the “Author” • Beverly Cleary is, a good writer. She was born 1916, April 12th. She was born in McMinnville, Oregon. Her name at birth was, Beverly Atlee Bun. Beverly lived on a farm in, Yamhill.

  6. Her Inspiration • Beverly Cleary was inspired, by her husband. Her husband told her that she should be able to write books, her own way instead of reading someone else's. http://falcon.jmu.edu/~ramseyil/clearybio.htm

  7. My Favorite Part • My favorite part was when Ellen wore the wool underwear. That was my favorite part because she thought that she was the only one who had to wear wool underwear. Ellen finally gets to finding out that one of her friends wears them also. Who wears wool underwear like her? You will have to read the book to find out.
