Jenssen NORWEGIAN UNIVERSITY OF LIFE SCIENCES 3 The greywater treatment system consists of a septic tank followed by a pump chamber, pretreatment biofilter (domes with spray nozzles overlaying the light weight aggregate biofilter), wetland filter (filterbed) and an outlet container. The film is made by Maxit the manufacturer of Filtralite an expanded clay product with high porosity and a large surface area.
