Shutdown 2012 - 2013 Machine Status: • NTF Treatments and Dosimetry as scheduled • Proton Source Commissioning and Studies • RFQ Injector Line (RIL) • Linac • Booster • Main Injector • Power Supply studies on weekends TeV & Muon Rings – Partially available for tours with approval and appropriate training

MSS Bypass Project – Impact Areas • Project Completion Date • July 17th – July 25th • A0 Parking Lot Work • May 28th – June 26th • Install new pad and switches • TeV road closure at A1 (Wednesday, June 19th from 0700-1530) (Need to schedule another one) • TeV road reduction at A1 (Thursday, June 20th for about 3 weeks during cable terminations) • Power off to A1, A2, & A3 (Daily for ~ 3weeks) • Pave parking lot

MSS Bypass Project – Delayed • Feeder 40, 42, & 43 Outages (Postponed) • Feeder 40 – Linac Feeder & More • All of Linac and Cross Gallery for entire day • Includes Linac, Computer Rooms, MCR, etc… • We will need to do this someday. It will take 2-3 days and might be possible during the 2014 shutdown. • MS3 Service Building (Postponed) • Replace Oil Switch with Air Switch at MS3 • Run on generator ~1 week • Need to calculate loads for generator • Would prevent Meson Operationsif not done by July 1st.

MSS Bypass Project – Impact Areas Cont. • CDF & Industrial Building (Completed) • Saturday, June 15th – Weekend outage from 0700-1530 • Reconnect a “y” splice • CHL • ~5 day outage/reduction (only house power available) • Monday, June 24ththrough Friday, June 28th • Two 5 minute power outages needed • Monday, June 24th @ 0730 – 0735 • Friday, June 28th @ 0700 – 0705 • Cable pulls and splices in PMH 210 • Meson • Two 15 minute outages one week apart • Monday, June 17th @ 0700 – 0715 (Completed) • Monday, June 24th@ 0700 – 0715 • Monday, June 24th @ 0815-1215 (Bonus MCC-2 outage @ MS3) • Cable pulls and splices in PMH 110 • Impacts MCC, Holometer, MW9, all enclosures, systems, and buildings

Kautz Road SubStation • Status • MI backfed from Master SubStation • Using Feeder 45 for MI conventional power which is normally T85 on KRS • We ordered 6+ new surge arrestors (4.7k each) from Hubbell and wait for delivery in 8-9 weeks • Schedule a ~1-2 day KRS outage (not really an outage, we can’t run power supplies) to replace all surge arrestors on transformers T85 & T87 • There will be a 20 minute outage to remove the backfeed after the surge arrestors are installed
