  2. Hello! I came to Aitkin in the fall of 1993. I am originally from the Twin Cities and graduated from Blaine High school, St. Cloud State, and more recently Southwest State University. I love living in northern Minnesota and currently reside in Aitkin. (click here to go back to the school home page) World History/Western Civilization 9: (BACK) • Course #: SOC 012 • Required of all 9th graders • This course will focus on the development and history of European cultures, beginning with the ancient Greeks and Romans. This course will utilize a classroom text, research projects, and original readings to complete classroom-learning goals. This class will provide a good background and accompaniment for eleventh grade World Cultures.
