  5. Testimony Jason: Testimony: When asked what receiving support with the added benefit of Peer Support was like this is what he had to say. “I come into the service with many tools. I was unsure how to use them and fit them into my life. By interacting with Peer Support and the Clinical team I have routine and confidence to be able to be useful to myself and family. With ongoing support I am able to live a life free from substance abuse. I’m able to maintain consistency as a parent and to adjust to everyday requirements of living life on life’s terms. I’m able to model hope and help others to achieve a life of Recovery”.

Positive outcome’s for Jason • Maintain total abstinence from substances still today . • Study and accomplish Peer Support Training with having had challenges with literacy • Gained full time employment in another field of work • Plays an active part in his children's lives and helping others in recovery
