  2. What is simple past? A tense used to describe something that happened in the past, formed by inflection of a single word

  3. Simple past 3 rules Number one. Ends with Y change to I Number two. Ends with E add D Number three. Double the consonant if the vowel is before the consonant. Example::::::: cry=cried/ carry=carried Like=liked/ love=loved Clap=clapped

  4. Quantifiersin a sentence if it is a large group, you don’t put ‘of the’ but if it is a small group, you have to put ‘of the’

  5. TIME _in + verb(action word) _for + length of time _length of time + ago _until + time/sentence _from A~B - A=start. B=end If there is a verb in a sentence, then it is always ‘did’ EXAMPLE 1.I lived in Suwon IN 2000. 2.I lived in Suwon FOR 12 years 3.I lived in Suwon 6 years AGO. 4.I lived in Suwon UNTIL I went to America. 5.I lived in Suwon FROM 2000~2008.

The meanings… ALL: means 100% of something example-all people love puppies MOST: means a majority of something, an large amount, more than 50% but less than 100% (less than all). example-most people like puppies ALOT OF: means a large number, similar to “most” example-a lot of people like puppies SOME: means an uncertain or unknown amount, less than “most” but more than “a few” example- some people love puppies. A FEW: means a small amount or number of something example- a few people like puppies NO/NONE: 0% of something. example- no people like puppies.
