  2. Interesting Facts • Life span:10 to 14 years • Litter size:6-8 puppies • Are very intelligent and get bored easily. • Are typically friendly, calm, attentive, and sociable.

  3. Physical & Distinguishing Characteristics • Has gray, black, tan, or silver fur. • Males are 21 to 24 inches high. Females are 20 to 22 inches high. • Males weigh between 45 to 60 pounds. Females weigh 35 to 60 pounds. • Medium sized body is muscular and strong. • Has blue eyes.

  4. General Information/History • Really good house pet. • Chukchi tribe of northeastern Asia is where the Siberian husky was developed. • Used to pull sleds and herd reindeer for this nomadic tribe. • In the early 1900’s the Siberian husky was introduced into Alaska.

  5. Temperament / kids • Dependable, very energetic also friendly. • Very good with children. • Very good with big animals. • They don’t get along with cats or other small animals.

  6. Food / exercise/training tips/cost • The exercise for a Siberian husky is running. • They eat any kind of dog food. • A sled dog at heart needs consistency and patience when training. This breed will obey if they see the point. • Male cost $525 and the female cost $525.
