Be sure to file any claims before leaving the Netherlands. Inform your bank of your departure and close your bank account. Bank charges will be continued, if you do not close your account.  When moving to another city in the Netherlands inform the bank of your new address. Check whether you have returned all the books and/or other materials you borrowed from the faculty or central university library Check the expiration date in the DUWO tenancy agreement you signed.2ndsemester: 15-07-20131st semester: 01-02-2014 Inform the municipality that you are leaving the country or moving to another address: Inform DUWO if you’re leaving earlier than the above mentioned dates. Upontermination DUWO willinpect (few daysbeforeyourdeparture) the condition of the room, communal facilities, furnishing and cleanliness. The first step is to report your intended departure to the town hall (gemeentehuis). Officially, you must deregister at least five days prior to departure. This can be done in person or in writing. You can visit your local town hall (gemeentehuis). Be sure to bring your passport or other valid proof of identity. You will be asked to give your current address as well as your future forwarding address. You need to ask for Extract 60 (Uittreksel 60), which you may need during the process of cancelling agreements with utilities and other services. If you do not ask for it, you will not receive any written proof of deregistration. Forward important emails and/or export contacts from your TU Delft webmail account, as your Net ID will be discontinued three months after your unenrolment date. Following the official termination of your legal residence in the Netherlands, you will have 28 days (4 weeks) in which to actually leave the country. You will need a valid passport or other border-crossing travel document in order to travel to another country. Please request for an official ‘Transcript of Records’ from the international exchange coordinator at the end of your study period. If upon completing your studies you wish to seek employment within the Netherlands you can extend your residence permit for a maximum duration of one year. 9 Collect deposit:During office hours:please go to the DUWO office, bring your inspection form, ID and your keys. You will receive a form for the GWK Travelex Office where you can collect your deposit. Outside office hours:please fill out the deposit refund form and drop it in the mailbox of the caretaker. Within 4 weeks DUWO will transfer the deposit to your foreign bank. account.
