  1. Discover how You LearnGoals • To introduce different learning styles • To encourage students to explore and identify their preferred learning styles. • To introduce different teaching styles • To help students adjust their study strategies to the teaching styles of their instructors. • To identify and explain how personality types relate to learning • To promote awareness of learning styles for better critical thinking.

  2. Activity 1 • Read the portion of chapter that describes the various psychological and personality types. • Write your four letter type on a paper. • Get in the groups of three • Make a list of the strengths that each member of the groups brings to the group. • Identify the group weaknesses • Share them with class.

  3. Activity 2 • Complete the multiple intelligence quiz • Add up the number if checks in each category • Get tin to group according to your highest number • You have five minutes to share with each other your favorite class • Report to the class and discuss what you do in class that you don’t like

  4. Activity 3 • What are your most developed intelligence? Describe a situation in which you excelled as a learner and how the theory of multiple intelligence helps explain your success. • Now do the opposite. Describe a situation in which you did not excel as a learner and how the theory of multiple intelligence helps explain your difficulty. • Identify a career field you are interested in. Which intelligence would be important?
