  4. Rachel wants a pet... Watch this video in which Rachel talks about her ideal pet and how much she can afford to spend on it. Write down on mini-whiteboards: Click here to open a completed version of the pet costs spreadsheet and put in the costs you have discussed above.

  6. Presenting your results – writing a report • Click here to open a sample report. Look at: • The different sections in the report • What formatting is used to make the text clearer • What advice is included about the choice of pet • What the final conclusion says

  7. Producing your own report Now produce a report for ONE of the people in the case studies, using your spreadsheet results and giving your opinions about the choice of pet.

  8. Submitting your work When you have finished your report, email the spreadsheet and the report to your teacher as attachments.

  9. Fill in your assessment sheet! Open the assessment sheet you saved at the end of the last lesson and put a 1 next to the level you think you have achieved in lesson 4. Remember to give reasons for your decision!
