  3. All sets contain hydrochloric and sulfuric acid as well as ammonia and sodium hydroxide • All others are nitrates, chlorides or sulfates some held in an acid environment

  4. Preliminary Work • Use your text, Appendix II, or the on-line resources wikipedia or webelements. • NR, no reaction • P, precipitate (followed by D if it dissolves) • State colors if appropriate • H, heat evolved • G or S for gas or smoke formed
