Current Status • First Meeting July 03, 2003 • Now over 30 members of this TC • Progress to Date • Certainly not what we had hoped ! • VulnXML donated to the TC • Developed an Initial Schema for Profile Portion • Made Little Progress on Test • No Progress on Protect • Observations • Under-estimated Amount of Work, Effort and Thought Needed • Big Group, Consensus is Hard • Lack of Direction • Lots of Conversations, Less Action • No Hard Delivery Dates • Solution • Change the Way We Work To Facilitate Action • Ballot Completed and Passed Jan 16th for a Re-Org • Change Schedule (Monthly) • Divide and Conquer (Core, Test and Protect) • Refine Charter • Now is Time for Action !
