  3. Features of Oyster Shell Contact Filter Media 1. The oyster shell has large uneven surface area．Microorganisms adhere to the surface well． 2. Protozoa and Micrometazoa easily live on the shells．The complex shape helps to protect from flow-out. 3. The oyster shell is more intimate with microorganisms than normal plastic media. 4.   6. Proposal of Container-Type Product It copes with disasters!! It can move to the necessary place! AQUAMAKE treats wastewater in the 1st and 2nd stage. The treated water flows into the 3rd stage which uses oyster shells and activated carbon. The wastewater is treated, purified and recycled again and again. Container-Type AQUAMAKE is effective in the case of disaster or an event which need a quick movement. Container-Type AQUAMAKE Possible to set up anywhere! Comfortable flush toilet contributes to the environmental preservation! Aiming to be more suitable for the environment! Plan to be adopted to cope with disasters! Since the construction is unnecessary, it is easy to set up in the park, a riverbed, etc. At the time of an event or disaster, it can move any necessary place in a short time. Also, asuitable size can be chosen to the situation. It does not discharge any wastewater. It purifies and reuses. It means not only takes good care of resources, but also contributes to the surrounding environmental preservation. Japanese Self-Defense Forces Entire independent flush toilet by solar & rainwater There is an inhabited island for the training of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces to the east of Okinawa island. It is popular as a scuba diving area because of the beautiful coral reef. The Forces train in the island and the flush toilet was built for them. It was considered to be difficult to build because of no source of water and power supply, however, by being adopted Aquamake, the flush toilet is installed there. By treating wastewater highly and recycling with Aquamake, the load to the surrounding is decreased because of no wastewater discharge. For the power source, a solar panel and a generator are used and filtrated rainwater is used to wash hands. It is an entire independent flush toilet by making use of maximum natural power.
