DoD Additive Manufacturing Acquisition Guide • Objectives: • Produce a First Draft DoD wide version (2.0) Acquisition & Contracting guide (in process) • Review the Draft Navy AM Acquisition & Contracting Guide v1.0 as starting point • Solicit input based upon the broad expertise of the working group members

  3. DoD Additive Manufacturing Acquisition Guide • Completed Actions: • Changed title to develop broader approach to encompass all stakeholders • Reviewed / commented Sections 1 – 12 (Day 1) • Reviewed / commented Sections 13 - 14 and appendices (Day 2) • Laser focused on AM specific requirements

DoD Additive Manufacturing Acquisition Guide • Ongoing Actions: • Drive collaboration between Services and Agencies on AM acquisitions and procedures • Focus on AM acquisition processes that can be utilized across a spectrum of AM technologies and uses • Review and incorporate output from the other working groups • Team will continue to communicate as necessary
