For doing this, lie on the mat using the back and straighten the legs. Keep the hands on the sides and bend your legs at the knee. Take the feet closer to the buttocks and press your feet and arms firmly. Now, lift the hips off the mat and push it upwards. Then, one must keep their feet and knees in a straight line and hold the hands below the pelvis. Further, extend your arms and lift the hips further up in order to make your thighs parallel to the floor. You will have to raise your chin. Now, lift up the chest, and then press the sternum towards the chin. Continue this for 10-15 seconds and return to the original position after exhaling. It is quite beneficial in chronic constipation, digestive problems, and stomach disorders.

To stabilize the lower back, try drawing your pubic bone towards the floor. Start lifting your chest and head off the floor by keeping the elbows bent lightly and back muscles working. Lower yourself back onto the ground with exhaling. Try this for 2-3 rounds and take 2-3 breaths when you are up into the cobra. • Halasana: To do this pose, lie on the floor with the help of the back. Extend the legs and keep the arms by your side.
