    1. Los gneros del cuento

    4. La literatura fantstica Roger Caillois, Anthology of the Fantastic (1966)

    5. La literatura fantstica Adolfo Bioy Casares, Borges, and Ocampo, Antologa de la literatura fantstica (1967) Fantastic fiction makes its debut long before written literature appears. All literatures are populated by ghosts . . . the Bible, in Homer, and in The 1001 Nights.

    6. La literatura fantstica Tzvetan Todorov, The Fantastic: A Structural Approach to a Literary Genre (1974) Texts in the fantastic mode must inhabit that region of uncertainty between the uncanny, which seems strange yet can be explained by the laws of the universe as we know it, and the marvelous, which violates those laws.
