We do not accept excuses. -ELD head We have high expectations of every student. -ELD head We will be the best public high school in the state. -Principal A failing student is a crisis. -Principal We’re the only Title I school on the eastside, and we still perform as well as non Title I schools in the district. -Head school counselor

  5. 100% Increase in enrollment in 4 years Title I School: 34% receiving Free or Reduced Lunch

  6. Student Ethnic Representation Over 4 Years

  7. 50% Total Enrollment is 2,266 students

  8. Less than half of Olympian SAT test takers score at the national average!

  9. Olympian opens the doors to the SAT compared to the State and District

  10. Graduation Outlook ?

  11. Olympian has HIGH Pass rates and continues to improve Proficient rates

  12. Economically disadvantaged students have VERY HIGH pass rates. English Learners perform SIGNIFICANTLY better than the district and State.

  13. CAHSEE: Ethnic Group Performance • Ethnic groups have VERY HIGH pass rates on both portions of the CAHSEE • A large % of the Filipino population earns Proficient on both sections

  25. A-G Completion within Ethnicity 10%age point drop in one year!

  26. A-G Completion within Ethnicity 15%age point increase over one year, but this figure is still dismal.

  27. Despite not completing A-G, these students are choosing higher education
