  2. Facts About House • Located at 19 North Square, Boston, Massechusetts • The original house was built in 1680 and was the former site of the second Church of Boston’s Parsonage. • The first owner was Robert Howard, a wealthy merchant. • Paul Revere owned the house from 1770-1800

  3. Facts about the House (continued) • Around the middle of the 18th century, the house went through 2 major renovations. (1) The roof line facing the street was raised to bring the house in line with Georgia architectural style. (2) A two story lean-to was added in the between the two 17th century portions of the house. The street view of Paul Revere’s house

  4. And more facts….. • John P. Reynolds Jr., Paul Revere’s grandson, purchased the house to avoid demolition in 1902. • The house was open to the public in 1908 as one of the earliest museums. The kitchen in Paul Revere’s House.
