Implementation Highlights • Aggressive IT strategy with most modules implemented in the first 2 years • Information Technology department increased from 4 FTEs in 2003 to the current 12 FTEs • Northfield opened 3 Primary clinics in 2007 with all new providers • All specialty clinics opened between 2007 and 2008 • Many “lessons learned”

Improved Integration • The entire patient’s chart is available from anywhere the clinician needs to access data • Monitoring and following “Critical Care Indicators” • CHF • Diabetes • COPD • Drug Resistant Organisms • Standardized past medical history questions in all departments that capture history data
