Cannibalized Vehicles Report - BSIP 101 Transaction Procedures

This tutorial provides two methods to observe the Cannibalized Vehicles Report for the BSIP 101 Transaction Procedures. The standard method allows the presentation to be resized to the user's preference, while the slide show method fills the entire screen.

  1. Two methods to observe tutorial • Standard Method • This method allows presentation to be resized to user preference. • Slide Show Method (Example below) • Presentation fills entire screen • Click on Slide Show tab at top of screen • Click icon <From Beginning> • Note: Either method; to advance click the progression arrow in the bottom right corner of each slide or press the down-arrow key.

  2. Welcome to BSIP 101 Transaction Procedures Report Cannibalized Vehicles Instructor: Stephen Wright DPI Technical Consultant

  3. Purpose:To produce a report that displays vehicles in a cannibalized status across the state.

  4. One transaction is required to complete this procedure: • IE36 Let’s get started -

  5. From the SAP R/3 Easy Access screen box type IE36 or from your favorites menu, select transaction IW36 – Display Vehicles Your screen should look similar to the example at the right.

  6. A new window opens: Display Vehicles:Vehicle Selection Click Get Variant icon to open the Find Variant window.

  7. A new window opens: Find Variant Input/Remove • Variant = DPI* • Created = Remove name; field should remain blank. Click the Execute Icon to record changes and to launch the variant window listing.

  8. A new window opens: ABAP: Variant Directoryof Program RifleT20 Double click the Variant Name titled: DPI-EZ

  9. A new window opens: Display Vehicles: Vehicle Selection Basic Search Input: • Construction year = Enter the range of years or a particular you are searching for. • Maintenance plant – Enter the range of plants you are willing to search through. • Click Execute icon • Tip: For the complete state use the range 6001 to 6100.

  10. A new window opens: Display Vehicles: Vehicle List A list will be generated that displays all vehicles that fall within the selection criteria. Tip:If no vehicles are selected based on criteria; a message will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  11. A new window opens: Display Vehicles: Vehicle List Tip:If the description is double clicked the Display Equipment: General screen will launch displaying all the information on the particular vehicle selected.

  12. Advance Searches In addition to inputting “Construction Year” and “Maintenance Plant” you may also narrow your search by entering “Object Description” and/or “Manufacturer.” Examples: Object Description = *Maxxforce* *Lift* *Fuel*Truck* *66*Pass* *72*Pass* Etc.… Manufacturer = *Chevrolet* *Ford* *Dodge* Etc.…
