INSERIMENTO SOCIALE Il RTIP ha condotto uno studio sulla frequenza dei matrimoni e sulla prole delle persone guarite da un tumore maligno diagnosticato nei primi 15 anni di vita residenti in Piemonte. 1237 pazienti, con diagnosi di tumore maligno nel 1967-2000, che avevano almeno 18 anni nel 2003: 1147 (93%) risultavano vivi alle anagrafi, 77 (6%) deceduti, 13 (1%) non sono stati rintracciati all’ultimo controllo nel 2003. 919 (74%) risultavano single 302 (24%) risultavano sposati o conviventi 14 (1%) separati/divorziati 2 (0.2%) vedovi

CONCLUSIONI • MIGLIORAMNETO DELLE TERAPIE = AUMENTO DELLA SOPRAVVIVENZA A LUNGO TERMINE (IN PIEMONTE 1 GIOVANE ADULTO, TRA I 19-39 ANNI, OGNI 1000 E’ UN GUARITO DA UN TUMORE PEDIATRICO) • “CORREZIONE” DELLE TERAPIE = DIMINUZIONE DEGLI EFFETTI COLLATERALI = MIGLIORAMENTO DELLA QUALITA’ DI VITA • CONTINUO MONITORAGGIO DEI PAZIENTI GUARITI = TEMPESTIVI INTERVENTI PER LIMITARE EVENTUALI PROBLEMI = AUMENTO DELLA PROBABILITA’ DI PROSECUZIONE DI UNA VITA “NORMALE”.
