  3. BILBAO (SPAIN) Bilbao is a Spanish municipality, capital of the province of Biscay, in the autonomous region of the Basque Country. With a population of 353,187 as of 2010, it is the largest city of its autonomous community and the tenth in Spain. Bilbao is a vigorous service city that is experiencing an ongoing social, economic, and aesthetic revitalization process, started by the symbolic Bilbao Guggenheim Museum and continued by infrastructure investments, such as the airport terminal, the subway, the tram system, the Alhondiga, or the currently under development Abandoibarra and Zorrozaurre renewal. All of these projects have been signed by the most prestigious and world-renowned architects, such as Sir Norman Foster, César Pelli, Frank Gehry, ArataIsozaki, PhilippeStarck and a large etc…
