  7. 90年代 RI理事之產生 國際扶輪在 1992 年時，全世界只分為 12 地帶 其中第四地帶分三組，理事輪流選出 ●第一組 : 韓國 ●第二組 : 菲律賓 ●第三組 : 台灣、泰國及南亞各國 國際扶輪在 1995 年時，全世界重新分配為 34 地帶 依據理事會之時程，每 4年從該地帶提名一位理事 ●Zone 4A+B :在 1998年選出 PRIVP Gary為 2000-02 理事

  8. 扶輪地帶之重新劃分 1.依據 RI細則 12.010.4 條規定，要求 RI理事會應該至少 8年(2004年以前為 12年)全面檢討地帶組成一次，以將各地帶之扶輪社員數目能大約相等 2.2007年立法會議通過 07-174 建議決議案，同意在 2007-08年度檢討扶輪 34個地帶的組成

  9. 2007 年理事會地帶檢討委員會會議Board Zones Review Committee ●全世界社友人數 2006.12.31止，總共有 1,204,694 人 ● 劃分為 34 地帶 ● 每個地帶平均社友人數 35,432人 可上下10% : +10% = 38,972 人 -10% = 31,881人

  10. 將 34 地帶以社員人數、地理、文化及語言等各方面考慮，劃分成 3 個地域群組 (Regional Groups) 增加到 10地帶 (平均每地帶 34,551人) 增加到 10地帶 (平均每地帶 35,192 人) 減少到 14地帶 (平均每地帶 36,232 人)

  14. 扶輪地帶之重新劃分結語 1.台灣/香港歸屬之地帶號碼 (現在是zone-4B)—以後可能會改變 2.此項劃分將確保台灣/香港之 8年理事之提名的時段/權利不變(2000-02 : Gary, 2008-10 : Jackson, 2016-2018 :台灣/香港社友) 3. Rotary Institute 扶輪研習會的組合(台灣還是與原來舊的zone-4B, 6B & 7B之國家的社友以英文來舉行Institute，日本及韓國還是以原來日語及韓語各獨自舉行 Institute)
