DAI WG REPORT SUMMARY TECHNICAL STATUS • DAI WG • Goal: Complete updates for OAIS Reference Model, Issue 2 • Goal:Develop a CCSDS/ISO standard for a Submission Information Package (SIP) for transfer and validation of information submitted to an archive • Working Group Status: Active • Working Group Summary Situation:

SUMMARY TECHNICAL STATUS: • OAIS Reference Model Blue Book, Issue 2 • Completed Agency Review • RIDs received, some processed, awaiting ISO comments to process others • ISO Review • Review completes in February 2011 • PAIS Blue Book, Issue 1 • Draft Progressing • Expect Red Book by next meeting

SUMMARY TECHNICAL STATUS: • EAST Blue Book, Issue 3 • Pink Sheets generated and reviewed 5 years ago and lost in transitions • Pink Sheets re-generated February 2007 • Agency Review ended June 2007 • RIDs received and responses generated • Draft Blue Book generated October 2008 • CESG approved with conditions • New issue of Blue Book published June 2010 • PAIMAS BB MB, Issue 1 • CCSDS has re-affirmed this unchanged document, but required that its color be changed from Blue to Magenta

  5. DAI WG REPORT • ISSUES • Issue 1 Need additional agency support for WG • Several agencies have not been represented at recent meetings • Funding streams for participating agencies has been sporadic

PROPOSED RESOLUTIONS AND ACTIONS FOR CESG/CMC APPROVAL RESOLUTION 1Action 1: Thank our hosts RESOLUTION 2Action 1: Thank CCSDS Secretariat for reestablishing CCSDS-ISO link RESOLUTION 3Action 1: Update CCSDS Procedures to require CESG Content review of Red/Pink Books during Agency Review Action 2: CESG reviews only that CCSDS Procedures are followed at Red/Pink Book to Blue Book transition. (No other issues should be raised at that point) RESOLUTION 4Action 1: CCSDS Secretariat should maintain a register of documents showing status, date, and next action required. Action 2: Register should be available to WG members
