FOUR SHIPS OF THE CHURCH DiscipleSHIP – Acts 2:40-41a 40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly[a] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine...

  3. FOUR SHIPS OF THE CHURCH • DiscipleSHIP – Acts 2:40-41a • Saved • How? Spirit’s call. Respond. What must we do? Confess! Repent! Acknowledge & Accept • Trained and Taught • Acts 11:21-26 - The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord. News of this reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw the evidence of the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.

  4. FOUR SHIPS OF THE CHURCH FellowSHIP – Acts 2:42b, 46-47 ...and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people.

  5. FOUR SHIPS OF THE CHURCH • FellowSHIP – Acts 2:42b, 46-47 • You Are “Babied” & “Brought Up.” You become family. You “BELONG.” • You Are “Encouraged and Emboldened.” You become productive. You “EVANGELIZE.” • You Are “Cared and Catered.” You are supported. You “SERVE.”

FOUR SHIPS OF THE CHURCH StewardSHIP – Acts 2:44-45 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. Malachi 3:9-11 - Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, “says the LORD Almighty,” and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.

  7. FOUR SHIPS OF THE CHURCH WorSHIP - Acts 2:46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple Psalm 100:2-3 - Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
