  2. When Did it happen? The 1st world war started in 1914 with an assassination of Austria’s heir to the throne.

  3. How did Australia become involved? Australia became involved because Britain declared war on Germany. Britain found Australia & claimed us theirs; they have control.

  4. What Did they wear? The ANZACs wore… • A hat • Khaki shirt • Khaki pants • Bullet belt • Leather leggings • Khaki boots They also carried a bayonet
